Travel Checklist
You may be a seasoned traveler, but skiing has a lot of extras you don’t want to forget.
Starting a week or so before you head out, start gathering the things you need. If you don’t have something, buy it before you head out. Vacation towns are known to be pricey, even for the little things.
Here’s a basic list to get you started. Add to it and make it your own.
Ski Gear:
• Boots
• Poles (if skiing)
• Bindings
• Snowboard bindings (if snowboarding)
Clothing:
• Waterproof and insulated jacket and pants
• Base layers (top and bottom)
• Mid-layer sweater or fleece
• Hats, gloves or mittens, and a neck gaiter
• Goggles or sunglasses
• Sunscreen
• Chapstick
Accessories:
• Ski or snowboard helmet
• Backpack
• Water bottle
• Hand warmers
• Ski or snowboard wax and tools
• Camera or phone to capture memories
Personal Items:
• Ski pass or lift ticket
• ID and credit card
• Cash or traveler’s checks
• Medications
• First Aid kit
• Travel insurance
• Travel documents (passport, if needed)
Other:
• Apres ski clothing, shoes and accessories
• Entertainment items such as book, music player, games.
• Travel adapter (if needed)
Note: This is a general checklist, you may need to add or remove items based on your personal preferences and the specific location you are visiting. Also, make sure to check the weather forecast and pack accordingly.
